Since the start of the year the number of employees in Ukrainian metal industry has decreased by 2.6% YoY, or by 5100 people, to 191 thousand.
According to the State Statistics Service, in October the number of employees declined by 0.4% MoM.
In mining and quarrying the number of employees dropped by 0.3%, to 193.2 thousand tons, and in 10 months – by almost 3%, or by 5900 people.
The share of metallurgy employees in the total number of the employed in October was 10.4%. (Ukrainian metal)
