In November the Tau-Ken Altyn gold-processing works reached its design capacity – 25 tons of gold. This year some 27 tons of gold are expected to be processed, or 108% of the target.
In 6 years the company has processed over 92 tons of gold, with 80.83 tons delivered to the National Bank.
The construction of the works began on July 3, 2012, and by December 2013 the company had produced its first 99.99% purity gold ingot.
Investments in construction reached 5.5 billion tenge. (Ukrainian metal)
