ArcelorMittal Temirtau has carried out a project begun in 2017 to switch to the horizontal axle of hot-rolled coils transportation in the sheet-rolling shop No. 1.
The new machinery will improve shipping rates and working conditions.
“The direction of coiling and the operation of the coiler are carried out in the automatic mode. Previously it all had to be done manually. The system “feels” the width of the material and adjusts pressure of metal”, the company reported. (Ukrainian metal)
