The miners of the Magadan region produced 40.23 tons of gold in January-October, setting a record since 1979, the regional government said.

“Gold miners of the region produced 40.23 tons of gold as of November 1, up by 7 tons YoY,” the authority said.

Alluvial gold output amounted to 17.36 tons as of November 1.

The gold production plan of the region was raised to 40.7 tons in 2019, with a later increase to 50 tons. Natalka and Pavlik will be the focal points of the growth. (Prime/Ukrainian metal)
