Next year Norilsk Nickel intends to produce 225-235 thousand tons of nickel.
The output forecast for 2021-2022 is 215-225 thousand tons, down mostly due to the repairs at Nadezhda works.
Copper manufacture is expected to grow to 420-440 thousand tons in 2020, but fall to 390-420 thousand tons in 2021-2022.
“B 2030 nickel output is expected to grow by 15-30%, to 250-280 thousand tons, copper – by 20-40%, to 520-560 thousand tons, and platinum group metals – by 30-95%, to 160-205 thousand tons”, the company press service reported. (Ukrainian metal)
