In January-October the East-Siberian Railroad transported 287.1 thousand containers (TEU), up by 13.6% YoY.

Domestic transportation accounted for 69 thousand containers, up by 5%, transit – 17.3 thousand, down by 18.4%, exports – 156.7 thousand, up by 8%, and imports – 44 thousand containers, up by 113.7%.

In particular transportation of non-ferrous metals grew by 21.6%, to 14 thousand containers, metal wares – by 35.8%, to 7.6 thousand TEU and ferrous metals – by 0.7%, to 2.3 thousand containers.

At the same time scrap transportation decreased by 3.6%, to 7 thousand containers. (Ukrainian metal)
