The minister of energy and environment protection Alexei Orzhel believes it is inefficient to unite state coal assets into one holding.
“We have not supported the creation of the National Coal Company. When we unite something profitable with something profitless, it becomes less efficient, and it is difficult to decide what to build, modernize or destroy”, he said.
The new ministry understands the problem of violations in state mines purchases, which leads to their unprofitability and the increase of coal mining cost. (Ukrainian metal)
