Krasniy Octyabr has developed a special high-alloyed steel grade at the request of Atomenergomash, a part of Rosatom.
The customer wanted its metal to be with the diameter of 135, 145, 155 and 200 mm.
Usually of one ingot with the weight of 7 tons the company produces rolled metal of one diameter.
The low volume of the order (16 tons) and the necessary sizes complicated the work.
The company spent several days developing a technique to produce the unique batch. (Ukrainian metal)
