Beloretsk Iron and Steel Works has started manufacturing a new import-replacing product – high-strength galvanized wire for cable industry.
A customer has already approved of trial batches.
At the customer’s request BMK has developed steel galvanized wire with the diameter of 1.85 to 3.05 mm with high-strength characteristics. Previously such products had to be purchased abroad.
The wire is used to produce core of steel-aluminum cables. (Ukrainian metal)
