In June Russia exported 590.3 thousand tons of scrap, up by 17.5% YoY and by 31% MoM.

According to the Federal Customs Statistics, in 6 months exports dropped by 13%, to 2.44 million tons.

Turkey remains the main customer accounting for 44% of all Russian scrap exports, down by 15%. Average price in June was $259 per ton without VAT, down by 3.9% YoY.

Exports to Belarus decreased by 16.3%, to 23%, with price down by 10%, to $275.8 per ton.

Deliveries to South Korea fell by 15%, to 16.7%. But the average price in June increased by 10%, to $251.2 per ton. (Ukrainian metal)
