In January-July Ukraine produced 5.189 million tons of metallurgical coke, down by 5.2% YoY.
In July 798 thousand tons of coke were produced, in June – 769 and in May – 917 thousand tons.
The drop in production is observed at Dneprokoks and Dniepropetrovsk By-Product Coke Plant.
In H1 Ukraine imported 2.9 million tons of coking coal from Russia, down from 3.4 million tons in H1 2018. The decrease in imports has been observed since May. (Ukrainian metal)
