In January-July the Sukhaya Balka mine produced 1.577 million tons of iron ore, up by 0.8% YoY.
In July 209 thousand tons of ore were produced, and in June – 231 thousand tons.
Last year the enterprise increased iron ore output by 8.4% YoY, to 2.725 million tons.
The mine capacity is 3.1 million tons per year. The enterprise comprises the Yubileynaya mine and the mine named after Frunze. It employs some 3.5 thousand people. (Ukrainian metal)
