Sukha Balka has launched a project to construct a solar power plant at the Mine named after Frunze.
The management of the mine opted for such a construction due to constant shortage of electricity.
“The solar plant, that will act as an alternative energy source, will be launched in June. Its capacity will be 2 MW. Now we are designing the plant and purchasing the equipment. At the same time, construction at the mine has already begun,” the company deputy CEO, chief engineer Igor Piltek has said.
The site for assembly of solar panels with the size of around 2 ha has already been prepared. The company intends to install 2740 solar panels. (Ukrainian metal)
