Chelyabinsk Iron and Steel Works has started manufacturing a new product at its rail and beam mill – the SVN 27 mine props.
These products are in constant demand on the market.
When assembling the SVP 27 props, the ChMK produced SVP 22 sections are also used.
“This is the 72nd size of the product that can be produced at the rail and beam mill. The manufacture of the first batch of props is scheduled for August”, the company deputy director of the rolling shop No. 3 Pavel Portnov declared.
ChMK will be able to produce over 2 thousand tons of mine props per month. (Ukrainian metal)
