In January-June Ukraine exported $4.8 billion worth of ferrous metals, down by 11.1% YoY.

According to the State Fiscal Service, ferrous metals accounted for 19.6% of all export revenue, down from 23.21% in H1 2018.

In June ferrous metals export revenue reached $728.42 million.

Imports in 6 months dropped by 4.5%, to $600.65 million, with $106.97 imported in June.

Moreover, in January-June Ukraine exported $534.62 million worth of metal wares, down by 1% ($100.52 million in June).

Imports grew by 28.9%, to $528.52 million ($81.69 million in June). (Ukrainian metal)
