Chelyabinsk Electrometallurgical Works decided to finally increase wages.
On May 16, the employees made a strike declaring that in 5 years their wages had decreased by a quarter. After the strike they met the company director, but to no avail.
According to the new orders, from June 1 the wages at the company will increase by 5% to 30% depending on the personnel category. Some employees will even get a 70% increase.
In 2018 the average salary at ChEMK was 37.5 thousand rubles. (Ukrainian metal)
