In 5 years the growth of aluminum and aluminum products manufacture at Rusal could reach 5.26% compared with the current level.
“We have a stable output of some 3.8 million tons of aluminum per year. Taking into account pure aluminum, we expect a growth in manufacture. Perhaps by 2023 it will be around 4 million tons”, the company CEO Yevgeniy Nikitin said.
Rusal has already introduced to the market products with low carbon footprint, which is some 3 times lower than the market average.
“That’s our Allow brand aluminum, manufactured with the use of carbon-free energy sources. Boguchansky Plant, our joint venture with Rushydro, is one of the suppliers of such aluminum, as it uses the newest techniques and consumes the renewable electricity of hydro power plants”, he noted.
