In May Kazakhstan produced 0.407 million tons of steel, down by 0.2% YoY.
According to the Ministry of the National Economy, in January-May steel output dropped by 0.2%, to 1.931 million tons.
Flat rolled metal manufacture went down by 10.1%, to 0.234 million tons, with 5 months results down by 34.4%, to 0.836 million tons.
Ferroalloys output grew by 4.7% YoY, to 0.882 million tons, with 0.175 million tons produced in May, down by 2.9%. (Ukrainian metal)
