In May, according to RZD, railroad throughput totaled 106.3 million tons, down by 3.8% YoY.
In 5 months throughput dropped by 0.7%, to 532.1 million tons.
Of metal cargo 32.2 million tons accounted for ferrous metals, down by 2.5%.
Ferrous scrap transportation grew by 4.7%, to 5.6 million tons.
Iron and manganese ore transportation increased by 6%, to 49.6 million tons. (Ukrainian metal)
