The government of the Khabarovsk region has developed a region bill on the limitation of the tax preferences on the extraction and processing of precious metals.
Coal mining and wood procurement could also be added to the project in future.
For each ton of gold extracted the region receives 342 million rubles, while Chukotka Autonomous District – 468 million rubles and Krasnoyarsk region – 500 million rubles. (Ukrainian metal)
