The Krasniy Octyabr shaped casting shop has mastered the manufacture of special steel grades.
Now the shop is capable of producing such complex steel grades as 18X11MNFB-Sh, 12X18N12T, 06X15N6MVFB, etc.
One of the main peculiarities of the shop operation is the use of two-slag technique, when the oxidizing and restoration periods are carried out in the furnace.
Expensive steel grades, which contain a considerable amount of alloying elements – nickel, titanium, molybdenum, niobium, tungsten, etc., – Krasniy Octyabr partners buy in small quantities. Thus, it is efficient to fulfill such orders in the shaped casting shop, which operates a 7-ton furnace.
In April, the company manufactured 11.3 thousand tons of such products, up by 1 ton MoM. In May, not less than 12.4 thousand tons are expected to be produced. (Ukrainian metal)
