Yesaulskaya, a part of Raspadskaya, is one of the last mines to be constructed in USSR.
The construction began in 1979, and in May 1984 the mine was commissioned.
In 1997 the first 1 million tons of coal was mined, and in just two years – 2 million tons.
In 2004 the miners set a record by mining 4.6 million tons of coal.
In 35 years 58 million tons of coal have been mined. (Ukrainian metal)
