In January-April, Ukraine decreased exports of ferrous metals via its seaports by 2.9% YoY, to 5.36 million tons.
According to the Association of Sea Trade Ports of Ukraine, in particular, the export of pig iron dropped by 32%, to 773.77 thousand tons, rolled metal – by 2.6%, to 3.27 million tons, and scrap – by 18.5%, to 24.07 thousand tons.
At the same time, exports of ore grew by 40.1%, to 7.48 million tons.
Odessa port exported 1.2 million tons of metal cargo, down by 7%, Nikolayev – 1.3 million tons (+42.7%), Mariupol – 1.16 million tons (-21%), Yuzhniy – 647.1 thousand tons (-37.2%), Chernomorsk – 558.78 thousand tons (+99.5%), Olvia – 231.26 thousand tons (-17.3%), Kherson – 190.6 thousand tons (+24%) and Ismail – 73.9 thousand tons (+29.8%).
