In April, Ukraine produced almost 2.5 million tons of coal, down by 2% from the target.
This has been reported by the Coal Miners Union of Ukraine with a reference to the data provided by the Energy and Coal Industry Ministry.
“In April, coal mining enterprises of Ukraine of all forms of ownership produced 2,466,500 tons of coal. The plan was fulfilled by 98%,” reads the report.
In particular, the mines subordinated to the Energy and Coal Industry Ministry produced 313,600 tons of coal, or 98% of the plan, down by 6,384 tons. (Ukrinform/Ukrainian metal)
