In January-March, Ukrzaliznytsia (Ukrainian Railways) increased metal cargo transportation by 0.4% YoY, to 24.1 million tons.
In particular, transportation of scrap dropped by 27.9%, to 500 thousand tons, of ferrous metals – by 5.4%, to 5 million tons, and coke – by 10.6%, to 1.1 million tons.
At the same time, transportation of iron and manganese ores grew by 4.1%, to 17.5 million tons. (Ukrainian metal)
