Chelyabinsk Iron and Steel Works increasing volumes of blast furnace dust – the main type of metallurgical waste.
The dust is collected and reused in the manufacture of sinter, the main raw material to produce pig iron.
Blast furnace dust contains some 40% of iron.
In order to process the dust ChMK has commissioned a drum separator. (Ukrainian metal)
