In January-March, Russia produced 15.2 million tons of rolled metal, up by 0.7% YoY.
In March output grew by 3% MoM, but dropped by 5% YoY.
According to the Federal Service of State Statistics, pig iron manufacture decreased by 1%, to 12.9 million tons, with March results down by 5.4% YoY, but up by 1% MoM.
Pipe manufacturers produced 2.9 million tons of pipes, hollow sections and steel fittings, down by 2.8% YoY. In March results improved by 16.7% MoM, but worsened by 1% YoY. (Ukrainian metal)
