In March, Ukraine produced almost 2.7 million tons of coal, up by 4% from the target, the Coal Miners Union of Ukraine reported with a reference to the data provided by the Energy and Coal Industry Ministry.
“In March, coal mining enterprises of Ukraine of all forms of ownership produced 2,663,396 tons of coal. The plan was fulfilled by 104%,” reads the report.
In particular, the mines subordinated to the Energy and Coal Industry Ministry produced 309,308 tons of coal, or 98% of the plan, that is down by 4,492 tons. (UNIAN/Ukrainian metal)
