Illegal business activity during development of alluvial gold deposits was revealed in Toktogul district of Jalal-Abad region of Kyrgyzstan, the State Service for Combating Economic Crimes reported.

According to it, the State Committee for Industry, Energy and Subsoil Use banned alluvial gold mining operations before submitting a temporary certificate for the right to use the land plot.

“But the company, ignoring the ban, mined alluvial gold and caused damage to the state budget on a large scale. During the pre-trial proceedings, more than 900,000 soms were reimbursed to the budget. The pre-trial proceedings continue,” the financial police say. (24.kg/Ukrainian metal)
