ArcelorMittal Kriviy Rih will continue the modernization of its strategic energy infrastructure.
Recently several contracts have been concluded.
One of them is the supply of a new 16B cooling tower. It is needed to cool the power plant, blast furnaces and compressor station water.
The tower is expected to be put into operation this summer. The company will spend 67 million UAH on the project.
Over 65 million UAH will be spent on the reconstruction of the overpass from the gas-purifying machine No. 5 to the blast furnace No. 9. The work on the construction site has already begun, and is expected to be finished in Q3.
AMKR also intends to completely replace the gas-supply system – it is constructing new gas pipelines. (Ukrainian metal)
