On March 19 the pelletizing machine of Karelsky Okatysh produced the anniversary 300-millionth ton of pellets.
The first million tons was produced on March 5, 1983. The 100-millionth ton was manufactured on November 29, 1996. Another milestone – 200 million tons – was reached also in 13 years. But after that the rate grew – it took the company only 10 years to produce another 100 million tons of pellets.
The anniversary ton was shipped to the main pellets consumer in Russia – Cherepovets Iron and Steel Works. (Ukrainian metal)
