In February Ukraine exported 59.9 thousand tons of pipes valued at $61.6 million, up by 31.7% and by 20.9% MoM respectively.
According to the Federal Fiscal Service, the share of pipes in the foreign trade was 1.41%.
Ukraine exported 37.2 thousand tons of seamless pipes valued at $49.8 million, 20.4 thousand tons of other pipes and tubes at $12.3 million tons, as well as 2.1 thousand tons of other pipes and tubes with the diameter of 406.4 mm and more at $1.6 million.
Ukraine sold 17.7 thousand tons of seamless pipes to US, 5.9 thousand tons to Germany and 4.5 thousand tons to Russia.
Poland bought almost a third part of other pipes and tubes (7.7 thousand tons), while US accounted for 60% of other pipes and tubes with the diameter of 406.4 mm and more (1.2 thousand tons).
In February Ukraine imported 11.1 thousand tons of pipes valued at $18.1 million. China supplied 3.4 thousand tons of seamless pipes and Russia – 2.1 thousand tons. The main supplier of other pipes and tubes was Italy (2.4 thousand tons), while of other pipes and tubes with the diameter of 406.4 mm and more – Turkey (3.1 thousand tons).
