Zlatoust Electrometallurgical Works is carrying out a major reconstruction project on the basis of the electric arc shop No. 3.
The project envisages the addition of a press to make electrodes out of titanium sponge, a skull furnace, as well as two more furnaces, and other machinery.
At present the skull furnace assembly has started.
As a result of the reconstruction the company will be able to make titanium alloy-based products. (Ukrainian metal)
