In January-February Ukraine increased imports of copper and copper wares by 19.7% YoY, to $15.666 million.
According to the State Fiscal Service, copper exports dropped by 62.6%, to $11.673 million.
In February copper imports totaled $7.447 million and exports – $5.395 million.
Nickel imports grew by 9.7%, to $15.794 million ($6.559 million in February), aluminum fell by 4.5%, to $50.775 million ($27.398 million), lead increased by 54.9%, to $2.275 million ($1.202 million), tin decreased by 59.9%, to $0.359 million ($247 million), and zinc – by 41.6%, to $7.25 million ($3.577 million).
Aluminum exports dropped by 36.2%, to $15.052 million ($8.438 million in February), lead – by 59%, to $2.982 million ($1.588 million) and nickel – by 43.5%, to $0.406 million ($0.231 million).
Zinc exports in January-February totaled $86 thousand ($47 thousand), up from $16 thousand last year, and tin – $15 thousand ($12 thousand) against $2 thousand. (Ukrainian metal)
