Primetals Technologies has received another order from Evraz NTMK to supply an automation system and electric equipment for the blast furnace No. 6 reconstruction.
The system will optimize the blast furnace operation and decrease coke usage.
Primetals Technologies has already modernized the blast furnace No. 7, commissioned in early 2018.
The blast furnace No. 6 will be completely reconstructed, and will start producing pig iron in 2020. (Ukrainian metal)
