Evraz NTMK has for the first time produced 400 tons of unique 20P channel with high impact strength at the temperature of minus 60 degrees C.
This is the only company in Russia capable of producing such channels.
The channel will be used in the construction of a wintering complex at the Russian Antarctic station “Vostok”.
The rolled metal is made of S355 steel grade.
Last year Evraz NTMK produced 180 thousand tons of channels. (Ukrainian metal)
