In January Chukotka Autonomous District extracted 1665 kg of gold and 8.7 tons of silver, down by 5% and by 19% YoY.
At present only ore gold is being mined. 5 companies are involved in the process.
Alluvial gold sites development will start in May. 7 companies will operate there.
In 2018 Chukotka obtained 24,130 kg of gold and 111.4 tons of silver, down by 5% and by 15% YoY. (Ukrainian metal)
