In 2018 Magadan region mined 401.7 thousand tons of coal, up by 21.4% YoY.
The increase is due to the growth of supplies to the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia).
3 enterprises are mining for coal in the region: Kolyma Coal Company LLC, Association of Business Cooperation LLC and North-Eastern Coal Company LLC.
Kolyma Coal Company extracted the most coal last year – 276.2 thousand tons, up by 14% YoY.
The association increased output by 11.4%, to 98.1 thousand tons.
North-Eastern Coal Company mined 27.4 thousand tons of coal (it did not mine in 2017). (Ukrainian metal)
