The company Ametistovoye has received the status of the Kamchatka Advanced Development Territory resident.
The reason was the signing of an investment agreement valued at 4 billion rubles with the Far East Development Corporation.
The company intends to construct a mine and modernize a mining and processing works at the Ametistovoye gold deposit.
The project will create some 500 jobs.
Tax payments to the budget until 2028 could reach 6 billion rubles.
The project will boost Kamchatka gold output. By 2020-2021 the region will be able to produce 10-12 tons of gold per year. (Ukrainian metal)
