The Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Mukhammedkaly Abylgaziev proposes to create a state-owned mining company.
According to the head of government, the state-owned company can be opened on the basis of Kyrgyzaltyn OJSC.
“Kyrgyzaltyn hardly works. The company, owning many fields, gave its share to others and as a result remained with Makmal alone. If there is a state-owned company, the issue of licenses will stop. The subsoil is the wealth of the people,” said Mukhammedkaly Abylgaziev.
He noted that the budget of the republic was losing large funds due to the illegal export of ore. (24.kg/Ukrainian metal)
