In 2018, 64 countries produced 1.789 billion tons of steel, up by 4.5% YoY.
According to the World Steel Association, China is in the lead with 928.26 million tons, up by 6.59%. The country’s share is 51.9%.
Ukraine is on the 13th place, having decreased steel output by 1.48%, to 21.1 million tons.
