In 2018 Ukraine exported 36.91 million tons of iron ore and iron ore concentrate valued at $2.869 billion, down by 1.3%, but up by 10.6% YoY respectively.

According to the State Fiscal Service, the share of the iron ore in the overall exports was 6.06%.

Almost half of volumes was sold to China, Poland and Slovakia.

The share of Poland grew to 13.3%, while that of China dropped by 5%, to 22.52% ($646.1 million).

Imports decreased 2.65-fold, to 111.7 thousand tons. (Ukrainian metal)
