In 2018 Beloretsk Iron and Steel Works increased sales of metal wares to car and plane manufacturers, as well as to construction companies.
Rods used in machine-building and aviation to produce springs and fasteners saw the highest increase – 25%.
Sales of cold-deformed rebars used in construction enjoyed a growth of 23%.
Low-carbon wire for ferroconcrete structures and calibrated rolled metal to produce various fasteners saw their sales increase by 15% and 12% respectively.
Last year the company shipped some 465 thousand tons of metal wares, on par with 2017. (Ukrainian metal)
