Last year enterprises extracting gold in Amur region obtained 22.7 tons, down by 12% YoY.
Ore gold accounted for 14.1 tons and alluvial gold – for 8.7 tons.
The decrease in the output has to do with the drop in the manufacture at Petropavlovsk enterprises and at the Berezitoviy mine (Nordgold).
Thus, last year Petropavlovsk mined 14.1 tons of gold, down by 16% YoY.
Berezitoviy mine has been developing thin ores, hence output dropped 2-fold, to 1.5 tons.
This year Amur region intends to obtain at least 24 tons of gold. (Ukrainian metal)
