The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has prolonged the regime of exempting operations with ferrous and non-ferrous scrap from VAT till 2022.
The corresponding bill has been voted by 248 parliament members with the necessary minimum of 226.
VAT on scrap operations was cancelled in 2011. And then, in 2017, it was prolonged till January 1, 2019. (Ukrainian metal)
