Rosterminalugol, operator of Russia’s largest dedicated coal port (run by Port Management Company, PMC LLC) has shipped 18 million tons of export coal year-to-date.

According to the stevedoring company, the milestone ton was loaded onto the Panamax ship Capricorn Trader, the 16th vessel received at the terminal since the beginning of the month (the 260th from the year beginning). The ship was loaded with more than 77,000 tons of coal.

In 2017 coal throughput of Rosterminalugol grew by 38% YoY, to a record high of 25 million tons (over 60% of coal exports through the ports of Russia’s Baltic Basin). (PortNews/Ukrainian metal)
