Baikal Mining Company and the Dalstroymekhanizatsia Company have signed an agreement to construct a road from the Novaya Chara station to the site of the Udokan mining and processing works.
The new road with the length of over 17 km and the width of 6 meters will allow transporting 700 thousand tons of ore per year.
The commissioning of the road is scheduled for November 2019.
The first stage of the works with the annual capacity of 12 million tons of ore is scheduled for 2022. The company will be producing copper cathodes and sulfide concentrate. (Ukrainian metal)
