The Prime Minister of Ukraine Vladimir Groysman has reacted to the address of the Lugansk regional state administration and called a meeting on problem issues of coal industry and the clearing of salary debts to miners.

Deputy chairman of the regional administration Yuri Klimenko reported on the situation at the Mine named after Kapustin, where an underground strike was going on, and a threat and possible consequences of the shut down of the only power-generating enterprise of the region – Lugansk heat and power plant – because of Russia ceasing deliveries of anthracite.

The prime minister ordered to change the investment approach in the coal industry. (Ukrainian metal)
