In August Russia imported 55.4 thousand tons of flat galvanized steel with polymer coating, up by 7.6% YoY.
In January-August imports dropped by 30.3% YoY, to 277.8 thousand tons.
The main supplier is China (118.7 thousand tons, down by 50.4%). The average price at the Russian border in August was $894.2 per ton without VAT.
Kazakhstan supplied 48.1 thousand tons, up by 13.2%, at $875.5 per ton, while South Korea – 38.7 thousand tons, down by 5.2%, at $1348.2 per ton. (Ukrainian metal)
