In January-September Belarus Iron and Steel Works sold $1.136 billion worth of metal. This is almost on par with the whole last year level.
Exports reached 1.5 million tons valued at $941 million, up by 9.2% and by 35.5% YoY respectively.
In 9 months the company produced 1.8 million tons of steel, 1.56 million tons of rolled metal, 112 thousand tons of seamless tubes and 311 thousand tons of wire products.
Sales were as follows: rolled metal – 1.1 million tons, pipes – 113 thousand tons, steel wire – 193.2 thousand tons.
The company employs over 11800 people, up by 200 YoY. (Ukrainian metal)
